New Jersey's southern most point!

Tonight brings to close our time in Jersey Shores southern most point, Cape May. Tomorrow after yet another stop at the fuel dock at 0800hrs we will then be on our way, for what we hope is a smooth 58 mile trip across the Delaware Bay up to Delaware City. We have one night planned in Delaware City and then across the canal into the Chesapeake Bay. We're hoping to be at Spring Cove Marina in Solomon Maryland by Wednesday, where we'll probably set up camp for a couple days. We plan on giving the boat some attention and hope to get a few articles shipped in......Cathy if you're reading this your fresh coffee beans are high on our list of shipped items of need!
From Spring Cove we will move forward to Norfolk Virginia and enter the ICW. We haven't spent a lot of time on the inside as we were warned in Waretown NJ that the state of the ICW through New Jersey was quite risky due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy last year. Locals were quite quick to let us know that safer cruising we would find on the outside. Shoaling and running aground seemed to be a popular topic around the local marinas in the state of New Jersey's ICW areas. We adhered to the advice and enjoyed worry free Ocean runs that took us to where we currently are, moving forward all crew members are getting excited for warmer climates and maybe a Stella sighting in North Carolina.
