FINISHING OFF SOUTH CAROLINA...GEORGETOWN, CHARLESTON & BEAUFORT

Spending a beautiful, sunny day in Georgetown...

Stumbled across our fellow mates in a local restaurant/bar called the BIG TUNA.

Within the restaurant Grace sighted an
ABACOS, BAHAMAS licence plate
...

AND a very pretty parrot named Lucy.

Lucy fell in love with Jo Tucker.
Jo had Lucy performing for approximately an hour.
Grace was in awe.
Keith Tucker now has to buy Jo her own parrot :-)

The owners also had two dogs.
Of course Grace enjoyed having them around, but playing with them brought back the memories of missing Jovi
A LOT!!!

The owners & staff were extremely friendly.
Sent us home with delicious steaks, tuna, salad and grits.
Cant thank them enough!!!

We enjoyed the nice sunny weather en route to Charleston & captured pictures of dolphins first thing that morning.

Charleston Aquarium :-)

In May of 2001 Caretta, a logger sea turtle, became a resident of the Great Ocean Tank at the South Carolina Aquarium.  She originally hatched on a beach in Florida. Upon hatching, a tourist took her illegally to Canada after vacationing.  Once too big she was taken to an aquarium in Canada.  After her second move to another aquarium, she was discovered to be an illegal resident, lacking the proper paperwork, and she was sent back to the US, specifically to the SC Aquarium to permanently reside in the Great Ocean Tank.

Perfect docking skills coming into Beaufort...

Longer legs?
Size 4/5 in sandals now...
Someone is growing!
Must be the salt air...

We wont tell you about Joe and Keith's night out on the town...

But this is the morning after....

That afternoon we travelled the historic town via horse and buggy.

Followed by fun times at the playground...

...a beautiful sunset & early night to bed.
